Maike Sjåfjell (b. 1971) is a German visual artist, jewelry designer, and master goldsmith based in Oslo.

She worked for over ten years as a goldsmith at exclusive jewelry houses in Germany, while simultaneously completing her studies in design in crafts. She then spent more than a decade as a master goldsmith and workshop manager at Jeweler Langaard, Norway’s leading jeweler.

During her career as a master goldsmith, Maike designed and produced jewelry for distinguished clients, including the Norwegian Royal Palace. She later worked for two years as a project designer at Boffi, the world-renowned Italian brand known for its high-end designer kitchens, bathrooms, and wardrobes.

Maike studied classical drawing for three years at the Christiania Kunstakademiet in Oslo before embarking on her career as a visual artist, jewelry designer, and workshop instructor. Today, she designs jewelry for a large international jewelry manufacturer.
