Jewelry drawings

Drawings made
with love and passion

With over a decade of experience in exclusive jewelry houses in Germany, Maike Sjåfjell refined her craft while serving some of the world’s most discerning clients — including the iconic Tina Turner. During this time, she also completed her formal education as a Designer in Crafts, laying the foundation for a career defined by precision, artistry, and timeless elegance.

In 2000, she earned her title as a master goldsmith and relocated to Oslo, where she began designing and producing jewelry for Juvelér Langaard, one of Norway’s most distinguished jewelers. Among her esteemed clients was Det kongelige hoff, a testament to the exceptional quality and trust associated with her work.

After several years as workshop manager at Juvelér Langaard, Maike now works from her studio in Oslo, where she continues to design and sketch unique pieces — each creation shaped by experience, craftsmanship, and a deep passion for the art of fine jewelry.

Maike’s extraordinary precision and poetic command of light infuse her creations — whether delicate drawings or finely crafted jewelry — with a quiet, magnetic elegance.

Her drawings, in particular, reward the attentive eye. Layers of intricate detail emerge gradually, inviting you to lean in closer — and closer still. One might almost reach for a magnifying glass, not merely to see, but to fully experience the depth, refinement, and devotion embedded in every stroke
